Graduate Student Career Day 2010
Dec 19, 2009
The BMIGSA is pleased to announce that a career day has been organized for graduate students in BMI, CMM and ECM! Check out the Career Day web page for more information about the schedule and the guest speakers.
The BMI Graduate Student Association (BMIGSA) was asked to participate in a joint Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Management endeavor to gauge the response of graduate students in our department to the implementation of a "business" centered Type 2 Graduate Diploma. Graduate students will have the option to take accredited courses offered through the Faculty of Management while maintaining their current enrollment in a graduate program.
It is important that we get your much needed response by simply filling out a one page survey at the following link:
[SURVEY]
You will be entered into a draw for a chance to win some great prizes if you participate =).

BMIGSA Pamphlet
Sept 8, 2008
The BMIGSA has put together a pamphlet containing everything you need to succeed during graduate studies in the BMI department.
It contains useful links and contact information that we wish that we had known when we first started :) New and old students alike should find this extremely helpful.

A big thanks to Josh Chan for doing most of the work putting this together!

It's already the start of a new school year?!
Aug 27, 2008
The summer months has seen a steady decline in the number of updates on this website and the number of bulletin issues. Hopefully, this means we're all just that much more busy with our research because there are no more classes, but I suspect that holidays might have something to do with this.
This coming year will be fantastic! Social events, trips, academic seminars, BBQs, and of course, there's always the infamous bulletin :). Hope to see you out, and stay tuned for more updates!!!

Pictures from various BMI events (and others) have been uploaded to a Flickr account for easy viewing and user friendly-access. They are accessible via the flash badge on the right or through 'theGallery' link in the navigation.
Please e-mail any BMI-related pictures you wouldn't mind displaying to the general public to bmigsa@gmail.com :)
Today is a turning point for the BMIGSA website. New and improved look with a simple navigation.
One change that will be implemented due to the re-launch of this website is how the BMI bulletin will be distributed.
Instead of the e-mails you normally receive from Carol Ann, the BMI bulletin will now be released via this website.
Be sure to check back often for updates on the main page.
